? BOARD?
Take a Point-7 and any board brand will feel better.
How is this possible? It’s simple. A good sail works on all boards. There is no such thing as a “magic combination.” If a sail is truly good, it performs on every board. And a good board works with every good sail.

This is why you see our riders using all types of boards. They are not limited by brand. They are not searching for the perfect match. They focus on performance.
If you hear riders saying that one sail fits better with a certain board, it usually means one of the two products is simply better designed. True balance does not depend on logos. It depends on design.

Freeride, wave, freestyle, slalom, foil. Different shapes, different volumes, different outlines. But the fundamentals of performance never change.
A sail must be balanced, stable and comfortable. It must offer a wide wind range. You should be able to hang from it, feel the power delivered directly into the harness, and sail without extra effort beyond your body weight.

When the balance points are correct, the sail feels neutral in your hands. It does not fight you. It does not overload your back hand. It does not pull you out of your stance.

Boards have different rocker lines, tail widths, and volume distributions. But when a sail is properly designed, adapting it to the board under your feet is simple. You only need to adjust the mast base position to control lift and trim.
- Move it slightly forward for more control and pressure on the nose.
- Move it slightly back for more lift and freedom.
That is, it.
The sail remains balanced. The board finds its trim. The system works together.

Why Point-7 Sails Make Every Board Better
Our sails are built around stability and comfort first. When a sail is comfortable, you sail longer. When it is stable, you push harder. When it is balanced, every board underneath feels more controlled and more alive.
Instead of compensating for an unstable sail through constant setup changes, you simply ride.
The result
- Cleaner acceleration
- Easier planing
- More control in gusts
- Better overall board trim
With a Point-7 sail, the board you already love will feel even better. Because performance is not about forcing equipment to work together. It is about balance. And balance works everywhere.
