Shape before numbers

The curve
comes first.

A boom should put your front and back arms in a natural position while giving the sail the space it needs. That is why we develop the curve around the size and discipline.

The carbon ranges use an eight-sided Octatube profile. Alu+ Pro uses a round tube. Compare the diameter with grip to understand the size you will actually hold.

The grip.

Diameter, tube shape and surface all affect hand comfort. Choose the feel that suits your hands and your sailing.

The connection.

The boom head must match your mast diameter. Check the fitting and adapter requirements for the exact boom size.

The tail.

Tail width, extension range and outhaul routing need to suit the sail. Check the configuration before choosing your setup.

Before you choose

The right answers.
The right boom.

Start with your sail model, size and recommended boom setting. Then compare the details that matter to your setup.

How do I choose the right boom length?
Use the boom length specified for your sail and check the outhaul adjustment you need. The complete setting must sit within the boom’s marked range. Do not choose from sail area alone or extend beyond the maximum marking.
Should I choose Carbon+ Pro or C80?
Carbon+ Pro is the 100% carbon option, with six length ranges and a performance focus. C80 uses 80% carbon and offers a more accessible route into carbon. Compare the correct size, grip and stiffness priorities rather than assuming that carbon percentage alone determines the right choice.
Will the boom head fit my RDM or SDM mast?
Head fittings and included adapters vary by family and size. Check the exact product specification before ordering. If you are unsure, send the team your mast model and the boom you are considering .
Can I fit an adjustable outhaul?
Check the tail and pulley arrangement of the exact size you choose. The different boom ends use different routing systems. The outhaul video explains the Point-7 system; contact the team to confirm the components for your setup.
