Point-7 / Pro Tech

Engineering behind
the performance.

A rig does not become faster, lighter or easier because of one material or one headline. Performance comes from how construction, materials, mast curve, boom stiffness, connections and testing work together. This is where we show the work behind the claims.

01 / BUILD

Every detail has a job.

Panel layout, laminates, reinforcements, hardware and construction methods are chosen for the response the finished rig must deliver.

02 / TEST

The water tells the truth.

Prototypes are compared in real conditions, adjusted, tested again and pushed in competition before the final production decision is made.

03 / CONNECT

The rig works as one.

Sail, mast, boom, extension and base are not isolated products. Their curves, stiffness, reflex and connections shape the complete feeling in your hands.

Materials. The Truth.

Weight alone is not performance. Understand laminate thickness, UV protection, stretch, reflex and why each material has to be placed where it works best.

Point-7 Q-Bond structural panel construction detail

Featured technology / Q-Bond

See the
difference.

Q-Bond changes how the structural panels of selected Point-7 sails are connected. The technology replaces structural stitching at those bonded joints with an ultrasonic-activated adhesive system, reducing stitch-related material build-up and creating a cleaner structural connection.

From idea to water

Development is
a loop.

There is no single moment where performance appears. It is built through a sequence of design decisions, prototypes, measurements, testing and production feedback.

01

Define

Start with the rider, discipline, conditions and performance target.

02

Design

Shape, panel layout, mast relationship and materials become the first file.

03

Prototype

Build the sail with the same production reality the final product will face.

04

Test

Compare on the water, isolate variables and collect independent feedback.

05

Refine

Adjust what matters, then return to the water until the target is reached.

06

Produce

Transfer the final specification into repeatable production and quality control.
