Introducing a total 100% ANTI UV-RAY monofilm windsurfing sail
All our Ply, X-ply and Scrim monofilm are produced in the Unites States. The less the transparent the monofilm, the more they will last in the sun. Just like our Black, all our new monofilms, are also not transparent, and darker the colour the longer it will shield the material from the UV rays.
What damages the monofilm is not the heat, but the UV-Rays. These go through the monofilm, cooking the material, with the result that it will become stiffer and brittle. Our monofilm is built in layers with inside the coloured anti UV glue, which blocks completely the UV rays, compared to transparent monofilm.
