SPY / Freestylewave 027
One sail.
Own every session.
Designed for
The SPY is designed for riders who want one sail to attack every discipline and dominate every condition. Its powerful five-batten profile delivers the drive to plane early, crush wave sections and detonate off ramps. The compact boom keeps the rig reactive, balanced and ready to change direction instantly on any wave or freestyle wave board. From the lightest breeze to the heaviest chaos, the SPY stays locked in and keeps pushing. Bump and jump? Owned. Basic Freestyle? Owned. Wave riding? Owned. Straight-line blasting? Owned. No pretenders. Raw power, ruthless control and an enormous wind range.
Its character
The SPY does not compromise. It does not hesitate. It delivers brutal, controlled power with razor-sharp precision. Its five-batten structure locks the profile in place and transfers every ounce of energy directly into the board. Nothing is lost. Nothing feels vague. Pull in and the response is immediate. The shorter boom concentrates the power closer to the rider, creating a more compact, reactive rig that accelerates harder and changes direction faster. Only Point-7 could make less length hit with more force. The compact boom allows the sail to fit with wave and freestylewave boards without feeling heavy and bulky. In light wind, the SPY generates the drive to release the board early. When the gusts become violent, it stays composed, stable and ready for more. On the wave, it attacks every section. In a straight line, it turns into a full-throttle machine.

02 / Profile & power
Driven forward.
Locked in control.
The ‘power side’
Leeward side: deep, power curve-draft.
The deepest part of the profile, located on the leeward side. Measured as depth (how “fat” the sail is) and position (how far forward or back it sits). Draft generates the power/lift of the sail. The SPY carries a fuller, more driving profile, built to deliver stability across any condition. Its softer Dacron luff panel feeds a steady pull into your hands, giving you early planing and smooth acceleration without demanding effort. The profile stays deeper below the boom, transferring balanced power into the board and fin, while higher up it tapers into a lighter, more neutral feel for effortless handling in transitions and maneuvers. The result is confidence: easy lift onto the plane, constant speed through gusts, and a sail that stays locked but never heavy. It helps to drive with speed to go hit the lips. Power, control, huge wind range.
The ‘fast side’
Windward side: flat, low-pressure side.
The overall aerodynamic shape of the sail, seen in cross-section. It includes the windward side (flatter) and the leeward side (curved). When we say “the sail profile”, we mean the general curve the sailcloth and battens create.
The SPY keeps a rounder, more forgiving draft than a pure wave sail, locking steady power into the board and rider. The drive sits low and centered, feeding directly into both arms and the harness, giving you balance and comfort without effort. This stable draft makes the sail light in the hands yet full of acceleration, carrying you through lulls and gusts with ease. The sensation is simple: steady pull, smooth control, and the confidence to ride longer, faster, and in total comfort.

- Wide wind range to crush any condition, any spot.
- The only true all-round weapon in its class.
- Dominates onshore chaos and shreds small waves with ease.
- Engineered to rule both surf and jumps. No weak sides.
- Explosive, precise, and savage on command.
- Forward-drive profile + perfect skin tension = control redefined.

ON LAND
A powerful masterpiece, the SPY is the epitome of control. With a rich, forward-positioned profile that drives power, paired with impeccable skin tension, this sail is built to deliver unmatched performance across a wide range of conditions and wind strengths. The leech tapers smoothly down to the fourth batten, allowing for fluid rotation around the mast while maintaining precision control.
Designed with cutting-edge detailing, the upward geometry of the battens ensures ultimate performance, making it clear that the SPY is engineered for aggressive, wave-driven action. The high-cut foot and high clew eyelet positions enhance the sail’s robust, wave-specific appearance, proving its readiness for the most challenging conditions.
Undoubtedly the right choice for those who demand power, precision, and control in their wave sails. The SPY is the sail for those who refuse to compromise.
ON THE WATER
The SPY is a true speed machine, efficiently translating the extra power from gusts into relentless acceleration. As the sail gathers speed, it remains perfectly balanced in the hands, feeling lighter with each surge. This allows the rider to push limits, whether trying new maneuvers or dropping into the next set of waves.
With an impressive bottom-end grunt, the SPY’s center of effort is positioned high and forward in the draft. The amplified power from the high clew position offers the rider plenty of useable feedback, making it a true powerhouse. It’s a sail that gives even the heavier or taller rider the drive needed to pump and release the board onto the plane early.
Boasting an impressive all-around nature, the SPY excels in every role, from a high-wind blasting engine to a marginal wind powerhouse for the opportunist. In transitions, the SPY retains its power and drive, never going neutral in the hands. Its unwavering stability allows the rider to reposition with confidence, with the battens rotating positively around the mast, ensuring that every move feels seamless and controlled. The SPY is the ultimate tool for riders who demand power, precision, and unmatched versatility.
All-round performance
Well-made and engineered for exceptional performance, the SPY delivers an abundance of power and practicality across an impressive wind range. It stands as a true all-round contender, excelling particularly in onshore conditions and small waves, where the power of the sail is harnessed for surfing and jumping with ease.
The handling balance of the SPY is unmatched, redefining expectations for modern ‘power wave’ sails. This sail offers a unique blend of raw power and refined control, setting a new benchmark for those looking to take their wave riding to the next level. The SPY is the ultimate combination of strength, versatility, and performance, perfect for any rider seeking to dominate in any condition.
DESIGNED AND DEVELOPED
The Point-7 Black Team, a powerhouse of professional sailors and innovative designers, has consistently proven their prowess by designing winning sails that dominate the PWA circuit across Slalom, Waves, and Freestyle. Their dedication, expertise, and relentless pursuit of excellence have cemented their reputation as the go-to team for cutting-edge sail technology and unrivaled performance. When you ride with Point-7, you’re not just using a sail, you’re using the product of champions.
RIGGING
The Spy is straightforward to rig, designed for simplicity and performance. With just the right amount of force, the luff curve easily counteracts, setting the profile’s rotation to create a slight loose leech that falls smoothly to the front of the first top mini batten. Adjusting the outhaul on the higher ring will allow you to either boost power or increase control, just be sure to maintain a solid outhaul tension until you find your ideal setup.
For the battens, tighten both the bottom and top, but only remove wrinkles on the other battens, don’t over-tighten. As wind conditions intensify, the Spy can be retuned by adding more tension, enhancing the leech twist without compromising the draft shape. For wave sailing, use the lower ring and decrease the downhaul by 2cm from the maximum specs setting for optimal performance.

07 / Materials
100% anti UV-ray
laminate.
Our Sails are total 100% ANTI UV-RAY laminate. No monofilm.
All our Ply, X-ply and Scrim monofilm are produced in the United States. The less the transparent the monofilm, the more they will last in the sun. Just like our Black, our monofilms, are also not transparent, and darker the colour the longer it will shield the material from the UV rays.
What damages the monofilm is not the heat, but the UV-Rays. These go through the monofilm, cooking the material, with the result that it will become stiffer and brittle. Our monofilm is built in layers with inside the coloured anti UV glue, which blocks completely the UV rays, compared to transparent monofilm.

09 / From the water
Tested in action.
Built for your session.
I wanted one sail for bump-and-jump, small waves and strong-wind freeriding. The Spy has exactly the balance I was looking for. It is light, easy to control and still has enough power to get going early. A very versatile freestyle-wave sail.
The Spy feels neutral when manoeuvring but powers up immediately when you need it. It is easy in chop, comfortable in gusty wind and very forgiving in transitions. If you want one sail for freeride, jumping and waves, it covers an impressive range.
What I like most about the Spy is that I never have to fight it. It feels light and balanced, handles strong wind very well and still has enough drive for flat-water blasting. For me it is the perfect all-round windsurfing sail.

SLASH / Pro Q-Bond freestyle 027
Pop. Spin.
Own the air.
Designed for
YO FREESTYLERS. FORGET THE TOYS: The SLASH is built for technical, ambitious riders who demand explosive pop, lightning-fast rotations and minimum swing weight.
From riders chasing their first doubles to professionals throwing triples and hunting PWA and EFPT podiums, this is the seamless, full Q-Bond weapon for those who refuse to stop progressing. Raw power, instant response and absolute control.
Its character
Forget traditional construction. This is FULL Q-BOND. SEAMLESS. No unnecessary weight. Just explosive power, instant reflex and absolute control. Stitched freestyle sails belong to another era. The SLASH is built as one seamless structure, allowing the entire sail to react with unmatched speed and precision. No seams interrupting the flex. No stitching creating weak points. No energy wasted. The result is up to 30% less swing weight than a traditional stitched sail. Every rotation becomes faster. Every movement feels sharper. Every impulse is converted into height, speed and control. Proven across the world’s most demanding freestyle spots, the SLASH has collected PWA and EFPT titles while redefining what a competition sail can feel like. Feather-light in the hands. Pure freestyle destruction.

Why only
Q-Bond?
Freestyle leaves no space for compromise.
Freestyle riders are among the most technical riders in windsurfing. They feel every gram, every delay and every change in tension. Once we developed the full Q-Bond SLASH, keeping a stitched version no longer made sense. The performance difference was too clear. Freestyle demands the best, so we build only the best.
| Reason | Why the Slash is exclusively Q-Bond |
|---|---|
| Construction | The panels are ultrasonically bonded into one seamless, reactive structure. No stitching, no overlapping material and no unnecessary layers. |
| Swing weight | Up to 30% less swing weight compared with traditional stitched construction. The difference is felt through every duck, rotation and mid-air correction. |
| Pop and release | Energy loads instantly and releases explosively. More height, faster reactions and no delay between rider input and sail response. |
| Rotations | Less moving mass makes every rotation faster, tighter and more controlled. For doubles, triples and technical combinations, every gram matters. |
| Airborne neutrality | The lighter structure disappears in the hands once airborne, allowing the rider to rotate freely and prepare earlier for the landing. |
| Shape stability | The seamless structure keeps the designed profile locked in place. No stitched seams interrupting tension. No distortion. The same precise response on both tacks. |
| Durability | No stitch holes and no stitched seam lines. The load is distributed through a clean, continuous structure built for the impact and repetition of modern freestyle. |
| Technical riders | World Champions, podium riders and progressive freestylers do not want a compromise version. They demand the lightest, fastest and most precise machine available. |
| Our decision | A stitched SLASH would still be good. Good is no longer enough. We will not build a reduced version of our ultimate freestyle machine. |
03 / Profile & power
Instant power.
Instant release.
The ‘power side’
Leeward side: deep, power curve-draft.
The deepest part of the profile, located on the leeward side. Measured as depth (how “fat” the sail is) and position (how far forward or back it sits). Draft generates the power/lift of the sail. The SLASH carries a completely flat profile, built to slice the air with zero resistance. Only a minimal hint of shape sits on the lower batten, no tension needed, just enough to lock in stability. The real magic comes from the precise mast rotation and the Dacron mast panel: they create depth only when it matters, unleashing raw acceleration and explosive pop for going massive in the air.
The SLASH carries a dead-flat draft and zero drag, pure precision. It slices through the wind like a blade, lightning-fast and feather-light. Always exactly where you want it, the sail explodes forward to set you up for the next move, ready to drop jaws and own the crowd.
04 / What’s new
20 new details.
Seamless freestyle evolved.
Full Q-Bond construction gave the SLASH its seamless advantage. The 20 refinements take it further by removing unnecessary material, optimizing reinforcement placement and cleaning the load path through the entire sail. The result is even less swing weight, faster pumping and a sharper release through every rotation. The structure remains locked while the sail disappears in your hands

Heavy on progression.
The Slash feels unbelievably light in freestyle moves. The sail disappears when I rotate, then gives me the power immediately when I need it again. The combination of light weight, fast reflex and easy handling makes everything feel quicker.
For freestyle I want a sail that is compact, fast to rotate and neutral during the move. The Slash delivers exactly that. It feels very light, reacts instantly and gives me confidence to push harder because the sail never feels slow or heavy.
The first thing you notice with the Slash is the weight in your hands. It feels incredibly responsive and the rotation is very fast. For freestyle manoeuvres that require quick handling and instant power recovery, it makes a real difference.

We use only 100% ANTI UV-RAY Laminated. No monofilm.
All our Ply, X-ply and Scrim monofilm are produced in the United States. The less the transparent the monofilm, the more they will last in the sun. Just like our Black, all our new monofilms, are also not transparent, and darker the colour the longer it will shield the material from the UV rays.

CARBON PRO EXT.
Product details
LIGHT, STRONG, SMART. A carbon extension needs to offer the right stiffness to match the luff curve of the rig and not just the idea of a lighter product against aluminum. The Point-7 extensions are based on a very simple indestructible system that is quick and simple to use and allows for effortless downhaul. The new pulley and cleat system are attached directly onto the aluminum tubing, with no crossing lines. The pulleys being perfectly in line with the sail pulleys, allows the rope to thread through a simple and logic loop. With the oversized rollers and free rope from the cleat, the downhaul efforts are reduced to the absolute minimum. The extension tubes are made with strong a strong grade carbon and are available in lengths of 28cm/44 cm with adjustment increments for every 2cm. The extensions can be sailed at the full 28cm or 44cm extension heights and are supplied with the original Marlow 3.8mm Formuline rope.
