RUSH-2. CAM-SAIL STABILITY WITHOUT THE RACING-SAIL EFFORT.
The RUSH-2 immediately feels different from a traditional cam sail.
The mast sleeve is narrow over the boom and easy to handle, the downhaul tension is moderate and the two cams rotate smoothly around the mast. Rigging is quick, intuitive and does not require racing-level precision. The dacron and wide sleeve below the boom, makes the cams easy to insert on the mast.
Its six-batten layout provides the stability needed for fast freeride performance while keeping the overall construction light and manageable.
Everything has been developed to remove unnecessary complication from the cam-sail experience.
The RUSH-2 delivers smooth acceleration and a stable, locked-in feeling from the moment the board starts planing.
The two cams keep the draft firmly forward, allowing the sail to remain balanced through gusts and during long reaches. Power is delivered progressively, without aggressive back-hand pressure. The less luff curve makes the sail feel super light and fun.
Entering a jibe, the sail feels light and easy to move. The cams rotate softly as the sail changes tack, allowing the rider to exit smoothly and accelerate immediately.
When waterstarting or uphauling, the narrow sleeve retains less water and requires significantly less effort than a traditional race-derived cam sail.
Fast enough to excite. Easy enough to enjoy all day.
The RUSH-2 was developed for recreational and experienced freeride windsurfers who want more stability than a no-cam sail but do not need the technical construction of a race sail.
It sits between the simplicity of the RUSH-1 and the more performance-focused AC cam-sail range.
The goal was not to create another detuned racing sail. It was to develop a new type of 2-cam sail: genuinely light, genuinely easy and genuinely fun. Its a total blast and match to any freeride, freerace or slalom board it will adapt amazingly.
Insert mast over the cams, apply the downhaul progressively till 15cm are left to full downhaul. Insert the cams. Downhaul the sail until the upper leech reaches the visual trimming reference. The RUSH-2 requires considerably less downhaul force than a full racing sail.
Set the boom to the recommended trim measurement and apply light to moderate outhaul. Avoid over-tightening the sail at the clew, as the profile has been designed to generate its power naturally.
Tension each batten only until the bigger wrinkles disappear. Excessive batten tension is unnecessary.
After the first session, check the cam rotation and make small adjustments if required.Yo can release cam pressure by putting less tension on the cross batten.
We use a total 100% ANTI UV-RAY laminates. No monofilm.
