DESIGNED FOR
FOR RIDERS WHO WANT RACE SPEED, NOT RACE FATIGUE. THE RACE MACHINE YOU CAN DRIVE ALL DAY
ITS CHARACTER
DOUBLE TRIPPLE STICHED
3cm Overlap Panels & Seams Construction

THE 'POWER SIDE'

The AC-3 carries a deep, locked-in profile that delivers maximum stability through every wind shift. The deepest point sits exactly where the rider stands, so the drive transfers perfectly into both arms and straight into the harness. The result? A stance that feels balanced, solid, and effortless, letting you load the sail without being thrown around. The power is there, but it works for you—not against you.
THE 'FAST SIDE'

The AC-3 keeps the draft flatter and lighter, giving the sail a crisp, free-breathing feel. This lets the board rise and rail with almost no effort from the rider, turning speed and acceleration into something natural. The sail disappears in your hands, leaving only lift and glide. The sensation is simple: the board wants to fly, and you just enjoy the ride.

WHAT'S NEW
Panel overlaps used to integrate the batten pockets have been reduced. Reinforcement areas have been redesigned, minimized or replaced with stronger, lighter materials. Every gram has been questioned. Every structural detail has been refined. Just like on our full AC range. Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Point-7, this is not a cosmetic update. It is a cleaner, lighter and stronger AC-3. The evolution of the construction alone takes the sail’s performance to a higher level. The new mast sleeve profile is wider above the boom, generating greater forward drive and a more powerful pull out of every jibe. Below the boom, it becomes narrower to reduce weight and deliver cleaner, lighter and more stable handling.
The increased lift allows the rider to transfer body weight into the fin more efficiently, reducing the muscular effort needed to generate pressure. Acceleration becomes faster, speed comes more naturally and the rider stays locked in for longer. With more power held in the profile, the upper section has been given greater release. The new twist opening allows the leech to open more freely and progressively. The sail breathes through the gusts, releases excess pressure and continues accelerating instead of loading up.
The result is a lighter sensation, higher control speed. LIGHTER IN YOUR HANDS. STRONGER UNDER PRESSURE. FASTER EVERYWHERE.

Take all the weapons from a full-blooded competition slalom sail, strip the bulk, and sharpen the edge: welcome to the AC-3.
This machine carries the DNA of the AC-1 LTD but with a leaner mast sleeve and a refined profile that makes raw speed brutally easy. A medium luff pocket, savage low-end power, and a razor-smooth 3-cam rotation deliver instant planing and effortless acceleration.
The AC-3 is ridiculously light in the hands, locking your board into a steady hover above the water for maximum control and relentless speed. It humiliates anything else in its class.
From early planing in nothing to charging fully overpowered, the AC-3 makes going fast feel almost unfair. Huge windrange. It slices through the air, eats distance without effort, and points higher than you’d ever expect from a freerace sail.
The AC-3 doesn’t freerace: it dominates racing. From the moment you shut the gap, it unleashes raw acceleration, speed, and brutal control. No arm-pulling, no fighting, just pure balanced power driving through both hands as the sail keeps accelerating like it has no limits.
Relax your arms, lock in, and let your weight sink into its perfectly tuned profile. The AC-3 does the work, you just get dragged into faster, longer, meaner sessions. The light rotation snaps through so clean you’ll exit with more speed than you entered.
As the wind builds, the AC-3 doesn’t demand you rig down t0 a smaller size: it gets lighter, sharper, hungrier. Low, locked center of effort feeding straight into your stance, keeping the board floating high and controlled.
The AC-3 demands precision in its rigging. Start by inserting the mast on top of the cams. After pulling the downhaul to 15cm of the final setting, you have two options: either pop the cams on first, then adjust the downhaul and place the boom, or apply full downhaul first, pop the cams in, and finish by putting on the boom. You’ll find detailed instructions and videos in the support section on our website for more guidance.
Adjust the outhaul to either boost power or dial in more control. Tighten the lower two battens and the top batten, but for the rest, just remove wrinkles without overtightening.
Once you flip the sail, the 3-cam system delivers an effortlessly smooth and light rotation—perfect for quick transitions without losing that explosive power.
