Thanks to cutting-edge machinery, innovative technology, and advanced tooling, we’ve increased the carbon content in our masts while maintaining their strong, reliable structure. Introducing the all-new K71 rdm model, alongside our already legendary K99 and K91, we’ve set the bar even higher.
Most masts might look the same, but that’s where the similarity ends. Different manufacturers use different machinery, different materials, and even different climates in production, resulting in masts that look identical on the outside but perform vastly differently on the water. Even if the curve or IMCS numbers are identical, the performance outcome once the mast is downhauled in a sail will be night and day.
The mast is the backbone of your windsurfing sail—it’s not just an accessory; it’s the core of your entire rig. It’s like having a tailor-made suit—it has to fit and perform perfectly. Our masts are designed to offer different performance across sizes, each tailored to the conditions it will face. A 400 RDM is built to power a light wind 5.6 wave sail, but also withstand high winds and aggressive catapults on a small slalom sail. A 340 RDM is designed to endure huge landings and extreme conditions with a 3.3 wave sail. The curve and stiffness of each mast are developed specifically for these challenges.
Most masts on the market are labeled as constant curve, but that’s a misleading generalization. The real value lies in the curve percentages of the bottom and top sections, the materials, the shapes, and the reflex. These elements vary drastically from brand to brand and are often kept secret by manufacturers.
This is why efficiency and performance are only truly reached when you have an integrated rig—where every component, from mast to sail, is designed to work in perfect harmony.
We’re also proud to say that our factory is the only one producing its own carbon pre-preg. This gives us the huge advantage of using fresh, high-quality material in every production run—no storing, no freezing, and no compromise. Unlike other manufacturers who purchase pre-preg material from third parties and store it in and out of freezers, we ensure that every batch of material is freshly made for each production cycle, guaranteeing superior quality from start to finish.

Once you take your Point-7 mast out of its mast bag, don’t think for a second that something’s wrong. The ferrule is now part of the top, not the bottom. We’ve re-engineered this for maximum performance and durability, and the mast is now referred to as RDM-I. After extensive testing with our wave team, we discovered that hard landings, flat crashes, or nosedive jumps were creating excess stress on the top, specifically where the ferrule would enter. By moving the ferrule to the top, we’ve removed that stress, preventing potential damage to the top section and reducing the risk of breakages during extreme maneuvers.
We are proud to introduce three distinctive models in our lineup: the K71, K91, and K99—each with increased carbon content compared to the older models.
- K71 (71% Carbon): An incredible value mast, with a curve designed to fit perfectly not only our sails, but also compatible with most brands on the market.
- K91 (91% Carbon): A durable mast with the highest percentage of carbon possible, built to withstand the toughest conditions.

All three models come equipped with the typical rubber cap at the joints, designed to clean the interior of the mast from dirt and ensure a secure connection between the top and the base.
