Alberto Menegatti, Pascal Toselli, Enrico Marotti and Andrea Cucchi all from the Point-7 Black Team arrived last night at 3am in Alacati, one week before the monster PWA Slalom showdown. One week will give the team time to train in the local waters, get tuned in and spend time on the photo shoot for the new 2014 flat water sails.. And yes also the new AC-1 2014. Alberto is currently suffering in both his arms from very strong.

Alberto Menegatti, Pascal Toselli, Enrico Marotti and Andrea Cucchi all from the Point-7 Black Team arrived last night at 3am in Alacati, one week before the monster PWA Slalom showdown.
One week will give the team time to train in the local waters, get tuned in and spend time on the photo shoot for the new 2014 flat water sails.. And yes also the new AC-1 2014. Alberto is currently suffering in both his arms from very strong.This is the final result that none of us from our Team would have expected. 1 month of no training due to the strong tendinitis in his arms, gave little chances for him to do well. The strong pain was bothering him all event, but still, after the first race, Alberto found the power and motivation to react against the pain. Entering all finals and winning the last one!
Alberto reinforces his position in the top 3 of the overall PWA ranking after this event. Can he win the title? Well, he would have to win in Sylt and Albeau would have to finish 9th.
The rest of Black Team did a great job. We had our Team captain Andrea Cucchi winning his first final ever! There were only 5 riders winning finals this year, and he is one of them. Proving that he could do better if he would probably have the chance to train more!
The young riders, Enrico Marotti and Malte Reuscher had good final results in some looser finals, but they were not consistant enough to keep a top 20 position.
The local rider Bora Kozunoglu of Alacati of the Black Team, managed to win a loser final.
Maciek Rutkowski after winning the IFCA Slalom Gran prix in Latvia, arrived last minute to Alacati dead tired from a week of racing. He was not able to perform in top results as he is normaly able.
Pascal Toselli climbs to a 14th overall place which is his best result this season.
