‘This year together with the Surf club on my homespot we had the idea to do a Slalom/Speed clinic. There’s a new GPS event organized running whole year and to help everybody reaching better speeds I explained the people about trim, tuning and technic. We set 6 standby days and already during the first weekend we had the perfect conditions to run the clinic !

Sunday 12th of April we had sun and increasing wind starting at 12 knots which picked up to over 20 knots. After some theory in the morning everybody rigged their stuff and after a check from me they went on the water. I’m sure everybody had a great day, all afternoon I stayed on the beach (or on the water) to answer everybody’s questions and help them out with their trim. Sure some guys improved a lot and hope they’ll make some fast speeds soon.

After this success soon I’ll be planning my next clinic in the South of Holland with of group of racers there, more information soon!’
