WHERE WE COME FROM
We built Point-7 on the competition circuits. It’s where we come from and why we exist—to create the ultimate products for victory. Engineered to dominate every discipline, our gear isn’t just for pros; it’s for anyone who wants to crush their goals. This is where the name Point-7 comes from.
THE HISTORY OF OUR NAME
POINT-7 (0.7) represents the score of the winner in windsurfing’s point system. The winner earns 0.7 points instead of 1 point, that when adding up all the results of the races, that small margin of 0.3 becomes critical for success. It’s this precision, this focus on victory, that defines our brand.

2025 HERE WE COME
As we close out 2024, we’re already charging into 2025 with exciting new additions to our Black Team. First up, we welcome Bob Van Der Burgt (NED 737) from the Netherlands, a rising star in foil racing. Bob hit the ground running, collaborating with our team to develop the new F1sl 25, which has already shown a massive boost in performance; despite the previous F1sl 24 dominating the final PWA events of 2024. At just 22, Bob is not only a fierce competitor but also a philanthropist, raising over €80K by completing a one-day NL to UK round trip for charity. His relentless motivation is clear in his early contributions to gear development.
We’re also thrilled to announce Tomer Shamgar as an official member of the Point-7 Black Team. Tomer’s radical style in freestyle and wave events, along with his powerful presence in his videos, makes him a perfect fit for our brand. Expect big things from him in 2025.
The 2025 season kicks off with key events designed to fine-tune and prepare our Youth Team. Join us from April 10-15 on Lake Garda for our Youth Racing Clinic (open to riders under 24). This is your chance to get dialed in before the first major events of the season. We also have our Flatwater Clinic in Coluccia from May 1-4, open to everyone, where you’ll train with the Point-7 Black Team to elevate your skills. Full details are coming soon.
2025 is going to be full of excitement!
Lastly, we’re excited to expand our team with a rider who excels in multiple disciplines. As Johan Soe has taken a different path to focus on winning the World Championship of IQ in his home spot in July, we’ve secured a new talent—someone ready to challenge for titles across different disciplines.
