INTRODUCING 8.2 LTD

WHY INTRODUCING THE 8.2 AC-1 LTD?

It’s not here to replace the 8.8 or the 7.8. It’s here to fill the gap in the sail range for those who want a mid- big size sail for light wind. Tailored for lighter riders or those running 75–80cm boards. And the best part? The 8.2 performs flawlessly across the range, from 72cm to 85cm-wide boards.

This addition unlocks a fresh slalom quiver: 8.2, 6.8, and 5.4. Pair them with two boards: 75–80cm and 60–65cm wide, and you’re set for any conditions going from 11 to 40 knots.

THE TESTING

Prototype testing is a blast, especially when everything clicks from the start. We developed two versions of the 8.2, rigged on 460 and 490 masts, both shaped from the proven DNA of the AC-1 7.8 and 8.8. Experience made the design process seamless; all that remained was on-water testing to determine the ultimate setup.

Worried about mast compatibility? No need. If the 490 version goes into production, you won’t need any 460. Just a simple shift in your quiver from 460 to 490, keeping your 430 when jumping down to a 6.8, as you won’t need a 7.8 anymore.

When a sail isn’t delivering stability, comfort, speed, acceleration, or handling, fine-tuning can be a long process. But this time, we nailed it.
