DESIGNED FOR

The AC-3 is not for the timid. This is the sail for slalom riders who demand pure AC-1 race DNA without the brutality of a full-blooded race machine. Built to plane early, accelerate hard, and allowing to stay locked-in longer. It's the weapon for those who want to race hard and sail fast without burning out. The AC-3 strips slalom down to its rawest form: leaner, meaner, and engineered to humiliate anything else on the course. If you’re not ready to go faster, and destroy longer—don’t even rig it.

AC-3

Colour Code: WHITE PEARL body | SMOKE BLACK Window.
Leeward side: deep, power curve- draft.

THE 'POWER SIDE'

The deepest part of the profile, located on the leeward side. Measured as depth (how “fat” the sail is) and position (how far forward or back it sits). Draft generates the power/lift of the sail.

The AC-3 carries a deep, locked-in profile that delivers maximum stability through every wind shift. The deepest point sits exactly where the rider stands, so the drive transfers perfectly into both arms and straight into the harness. The result? A stance that feels balanced, solid, and effortless, letting you load the sail without being thrown around. The power is there, but it works for you—not against you.

Windward side: flatter, low-pressure side.

THE 'FAST SIDE'

The overall aerodynamic shape of the sail, seen in cross-section. It includes the windward side (flatter) and the leeward side (curved). When we say “the sail profile”, we mean the general curve the sailcloth and battens create.

The AC-3 keeps the draft flatter and lighter, giving the sail a crisp, free-breathing feel. This lets the board rise and rail with almost no effort from the rider, turning speed and acceleration into something natural. The sail disappears in your hands, leaving only lift and glide. The sensation is simple: the board wants to fly, and you just enjoy the ride.

WHATS NEW

Each size has been independently developed for 2026—no shortcuts, just precision. Introducing this year also a new 7.3 and 8.2 using both 460 masts. Making the 7.3 a powerful sail for light wind and the 8.3 a bigger sail but extremly light feeling.

ON LAND

Take all the weapons from a full-blooded competition slalom sail, strip the bulk, and sharpen the edge: welcome to the AC-3.

This machine carries the DNA of the AC-1 LTD but with a leaner mast sleeve and a refined profile that makes raw speed brutally easy. A medium luff pocket, savage low-end power, and a razor-smooth 3-cam rotation deliver instant planing and effortless acceleration.

The AC-3 is ridiculously light in the hands, locking your board into a steady hover above the water for maximum control and relentless speed. It flatters the nervous, empowers the hungry, and humiliates anything else in its class.

From early planing in nothing to charging fully overpowered, the AC-3 makes going fast feel almost unfair. It slices through the air, eats distance without effort, and points higher than you’d ever expect from a freerace sail.

AC-3: All the race, none of the drag. The easiest way to taste pure slalom dominance.

ON WATER

The AC-3 doesn’t freerace: it dominates racing. From the moment you shut the gap, it unleashes raw acceleration, speed, and brutal control. No arm-pulling, no fighting, just pure balanced power driving through both hands as the sail keeps accelerating like it has no limits.

Relax your arms, lock in, and let your weight sink into its perfectly tuned profile. The AC-3 does the work, you just get dragged into faster, longer, meaner sessions. Jibes? Surgical. The light rotation snaps through so clean you’ll exit with more speed than you entered.

As the wind builds, the AC-3 doesn’t demand you rig down t0 a smaller size: it gets lighter, sharper, hungrier. Low, locked center of effort feeding straight into your stance, keeping the board floating high and controlled.

Balanced, ruthless, effortless. The AC-3 turns every run into drag racingand makes going stupid fast feel way too easy.

RIG SETTING

The AC-3  demands precision in its rigging. Start by inserting the mast on top of the cams. After pulling the downhaul to 15cm of the final setting, you have two options: either pop the cams on first, then adjust the downhaul and place the boom, or apply full downhaul first, pop the cams in, and finish by putting on the boom. You’ll find detailed instructions and videos in the support section on our website for more guidance.

Adjust the outhaul to either boost power or dial in more control. Tighten the lower two battens and the top batten, but for the rest, just remove wrinkles without overtightening.

Once you flip the sail, the 3-cam system delivers an effortlessly smooth and light rotation—perfect for quick transitions without losing that explosive power.

IN ITALY

Life is a race—and we’re built for it. Not just for straight-line speed, but for everything that makes you dominate the course. Testing the sail in the starts and jibing around the marks with seven other riders hot on your tail. Real competition conditions, where performance counts.

You want the fastest sail on the racecoursecomfort on the straight line, power out of the jibes, turbo-boosted acceleration, and a light feel when carving through the turns. With downward force to pin the board and give you the perfect balance—hovering over any water surface like a true champion.

Introducing a total 100% ANTI UV-RAY monofilm windsurfing sail

All our Ply, X-ply and Scrim monofilm are produced in the Unites States including the new 7548 Yellow. The less the transparent the monofilm, the more they will last in the sun. Just like our Black, our new Yellow monofilm, is also not transparent, and darker the colour the longer it will shield the material from the UV rays.

What damages the monofilm is not the heat, but the UV-Rays. These go through the monofilm, cooking the material, with the result that it will become stiffer and brittle. Our monofilm is built in layers with inside the coloured anti UV glue, which blocks completely the UV rays, compared to transparent monofilm.
