IT'S TARGET
The 9+ Light Wind Titan is built for a new generation of freerace riders who refuse to accept that light wind means slow sailing or switching to foil. It is designed for those who still want to feel the board lift, the fin engage, and the acceleration build naturally under their feet.
This sail is made for riders who want to plane early without struggle, who prefer the control and connection of fin sailing, and who sail bigger boards that require efficient, powerful drive. It suits those looking for stability over long distances, while still demanding a setup that feels light, responsive, and alive in the hands.

For years, many riders believed that light wind meant only one thing: foil. But something is changing fast.
Fin freerace sailing is coming back strong, even in marginal conditions. More and more riders want that classic feeling again. Full speed, full spray, full rail pressure, and early planing power. And they want it with a sail that is designed for real light wind sailing, not just an oversized version of a smaller race or freerace sail.Because in true light wind, everything changes. Mast sleeve shape. Outline. Profile stability. Rotation. Weight distribution. Pumping response. This is why we made a clear decision.
No AC-3 or AC-2 Above 9.0
The AC-2 and AC-3 are high performance machines. Fast, efficient, and built for their purpose. But once you go beyond 9.0, the game becomes different.A bigger sail is not just a bigger sail. If the design is not fully dedicated to light wind, it becomes heavy, unstable, difficult to pump, and hard to manage in transitions. So instead of forcing an AC-3 or AC-2 above 9.0, we built something else. Something more focused. A dedicated weapon.
Introducing the 9+ Light Wind Titan
The 9+ Light Wind Titan is our new freerace engine for riders who want early planing, real fin acceleration, and powerful stable drive when the wind is not delivering. Built with the latest Point-7 construction technology, it stays light in your hands and easy to handle. Even when uphauling. Even when the wind is under 12 knots. And when it is time to pump onto the plane, it delivers exactly what you need.
Brutal efficiency.
Massive drive.
Immediate acceleration.
Stable power delivery.
The feeling is simple. It pulls forward, not sideways. It lifts the board, not your arms.
- Dedicated light wind freerace design for maximum early planing
- Compact boom setup (190–240) for better control and handling
- Optimized for 490 mast for ideal flex and stability
- Ideal for 77cm+ boards and 42cm+ fins.
Start by inserting the mast on top of the cams. After pulling the downhaul to 15cm of the final setting, you have two options: either pop the cams on first, then adjust the downhaul and place the boom, or apply full downhaul first, pop the cams in, and finish by putting on the boom. You’ll find detailed instructions and videos in the support section on our website for more guidance.
Adjust the outhaul to either boost power or dial in more control. Tighten the lower two battens and the top batten, but for the rest, just remove wrinkles without overtightening.
Once you flip the sail, the 3-cam system delivers an effortlessly smooth and light rotation—perfect for quick transitions without losing that explosive power.
