F1 – The New Name for F1SL:  The former F1SL is now simply called the F1 – Point-7’s ultimate cambered foil racing sail, purpose-built for speed and control at the highest levels of foil competition. New features for 2026 include: Extended boom length on the 7.7 size for improved leverage and upwind power. Refined mast sleeve: slimmer and more compact for better agility and smoother transitions between marks. Q-Bond sail technology is an innovative bonding system developed by Q-Bond, designed to enhance the construction of high-performance sails. This technology utilizes ultrasonic activation to bond sail panels together, eliminating the need for traditional stitching and reducing weight. The process involves applying Q-Bond tape to the edges of sail panels, which is then activated using a Mobile Activation Device (MAM). MAM emits ultrasonic energy, causing the adhesive in the tape to melt and bond the panels seamlessly. This method results in strong, durable joints that maintain the sail’s integrity under stress.
