The first target from the Point-7 Black Team when developing a boom is the curve. This is not about having a curve from the new generation as many might call it. It’s about having a curve which allows your front and back arm to sit in a natural ergonomic position while sailing, automatically positioning the sail at the right angle for the wind to enter and exit the sail. This position varies with the wind strength and windsurfing discipline, so each boom size needs to be developed accordingly.

Carbon pro extension

LIGHT, STRONG, SMART.
A carbon extension needs to offer the right stiffness to match the luff curve of the rig and not just the idea of a lighter product against aluminum. The Point-7 extensions are based on a very simple indestructible system that is quick and simple to use and allows for effortless downhaul.
The new pulley and cleat system are attached directly onto the aluminum tubing, with no crossing lines. The pulleys being perfectly in line with the sail pulleys, allows the rope to thread through a simple and logic loop. With the oversized rollers and free rope from the cleat, the downhaul efforts are reduced to the absolute minimum.
The extension tubes are made with strong a strong grade carbon and are available in lengths of 28cm/44 cm with adjustment increments for every 2cm. The extensions can be sailed at the full 28cm or 44cm extension heights and are supplied with the original Marlow 3.8mm Formuline rope.

SEAT HARNESS

Full contact windsurfing is how our PWA riders wants their seat harness. Designed using a minimal structure with no padding to keep the direct feeling of the sail, giving the comfort needed to achieve great average and top end-speeds with full control!
The harness can be adjusted to the millimetre ensuring the optimal fit, comfort and output from your entire rig.
Thanks to the double webbing on the sides the height of the hook can be changed. The hook can be put at a higher place on the body for strong wind, and lowered for light wind to achieve extra power.
The leg straps can also be widen or tighten according to water conditions. They can be tighten hard to have a more seated stance in light wind, or losening them up in wavy conditions, will allow the legs to be more free to follow the water surface.
The hook padded hook, as now a quick release system that will allow to wear the harness more comfortably. It can be opened with one hand in case of emergency.
