Q1. Nikodem, can you describe what makes the Hel Peninsula such a special spot for water sports?
The magic of the Hel Peninsula is all about its incredible nature. This skinny strip of land is hugged by water on both sides — on one side, the wild Baltic Sea waves, and on the other, the calm, shallow waters of Puck Bay.

Right near Jastarnia, on the bay side, there’s a huge sandy shoal — basically a dream spot for water sports! Since the wind works here from nearly every direction, you can count on great conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing, or wingfoiling almost all the time.

The shallow water and safe, friendly vibe make it perfect for both beginners and more experienced riders. Honestly, Hel isn’t just about the views — it’s one of the best places in Poland (maybe even Europe) for water sports.

Q2. What makes Akademia Windsurfingu Pana Nikodema stand out compared to other schools?
It’s the vibe, 100%. You can feel it as soon as you arrive — a place with soul and a family-like atmosphere. A lot of that comes from my wife, who’s not only my partner in life but also in building this school.

Our crew is the heart of the place. They’re more than instructors — they’re passionate people who love teaching and bring real energy to the spot. Without them, there would be no “us.”

We’ve also got our own “private” spot and a well-equipped camping area. After a water session, you can grab food, relax in the spa zone, or join other activities — all without leaving the base.

And importantly, we’re honest with people. If there’s no wind, we’ll say it. We teach only when conditions make sense and bring results. And here, students are never “just customers” — they’re part of the crew.

Q3. How do you keep your instructors motivated and ensure consistent, high-quality teaching?
We invest heavily in our team. We’ve built a unified teaching system together that sets clear goals at every stage of learning. This way, instructors know exactly what to teach and how to keep riders motivated to push their limits.

We also run regular crew training sessions on the water. They’re not just about sharpening skills, but also about sharing experiences and raising the bar as a team. That’s why we can work effectively with riders of all levels — from complete beginners to advanced.

Q4. How has your cooperation with Point-7 been so far?
Top-notch. Andrea, Marco, and the whole Point-7 crew were super helpful and professional from the first chat. It felt like I was their most important client right away. You can tell they’re focused on long-term partnerships, not quick sales.

Q5. What’s your impression of the Point-7 S-Line sails after putting them through an entire season?
At first glance, they look super solid — and on the water, they don’t disappoint. Our sails get pushed hard here, sometimes up to 12 hours a day. They handle crashes like champs, whether it’s catapults or the usual hits from harness hooks and knees.

Q6. How do your students and riders respond to the S-Line?
First impressions count — and the S-Line nails it with its clean, premium design. On the water, riders find them light and easy to handle. The more advanced guys add that they feel faster and give way more control compared to what they used before.

Q7. How do the sails perform in the tricky, gusty Hel Peninsula winds?
The S-Line sails manage it brilliantly. They keep their pull consistent, even in gusts or offshore winds. In light wind, they’re easy to pump. Overpowered? Still stable and controllable.

And the color is a bonus — they’re easy to spot in foggy conditions or when searching for your rider in a crowd!

Q8. Do they make a difference for students learning to plane or attempting advanced moves?
Absolutely! That’s where they shine. Control, stability, and smooth power transfer are exactly what students need when stepping up their game.

Q9. Beyond lessons, what kind of activities do you organize for your community?
We love keeping the vibe alive off the water too — kids’ activities, SUP trips, contests like the Low Wind Freestyle Battle, and more. But honestly, nothing beats sharing a good session together.

Q10. If you had to sum up your school in just a few words, what would they be?
Family vibe, pro-level service, certified instructors… and the BEST GEAR IN THE WORLD.
See you on the water!
