Developing a racing sail is the ultimate challenge. No other sail is pushed harder or dissected more by riders who live on the water every day and know every millimeter of their gear. They master every trim, every reaction. So when a new version lands in their hands, it has one chance only: the very first run. If it is not instantly better, it is a failure. Our racing sails have built their reputation on lethal speed and brutal comfort when the wind kicks in. We’ve always worked to make pure racing performance easy to handle, even when conditions turn savage. That is the reason we created the only 3-cam racing sail on the planet. We refined the profile to be even more efficient, especially around the cross batten—the one running through the boom. Depth sits right behind the entry, locked exactly where the rider stands. At the same time, stability goes through the roof, keeping the nose of the board steady even in brutal chop.

The outline remains wide at the base and tighter at the top. Two advantages hit immediately on the first run. First: the sail feels much lighter. Second, and most important: a perfectly steady aerodynamic rig downwind, letting you hold absurd speeds with a level of comfort your rivals will never know. We cut and tested half a centimeter at a time until the rig was locked to perfection.

Special high-aspect sizes like 6.5, 7.3, and 8.2 bring shorter booms with maximum efficiency. They are insanely fast, with a touch less raw power—perfect for lighter riders chasing glory. And forget the old obsession with having every size in the quiver. With today’s expanded range, gaps are crushed. The new 8.8 kills the need for a 9.2. The 7.8 runs so deep you can drop straight to a 5.9. This is range redefined.

Acceleration on the smaller sizes will blow the minds of speed addicts.
