But that much raw force will crush 95% of windsurfers after a few runs. Until now, there was no proper easier race sail for the majority of riders who still want uncompromised performance. The difference is surgical and simple. Power in a racing sail comes from the width of the mast sleeve. The wider the sleeve, the more front-loaded drive it delivers, locking the board down but demanding huge physical input. By reducing the AC-3’s sleeve width by 23%, we hit the sweet spot. The drive is still lethal, but now it’s controllable. The sail feels light, balanced, and effortless in every direction—on the course, in long-distance battles, or when you’re just blasting with your GPS.
