ITS CHARACTER
Till you don’t get close, you won’t realize that it’s a no cam sail. The looks, the outline is pure racing foil series pedigree. The new F1 X, the no cam foil racing.
For slalom foilers chasing the edge of performance and control. Even if with no cam technology, this sail is an uncompromising weapon. Built for blistering speed, unshakable stability, and razor-sharp control, it dominates in any wind condition. Lets you attac k every run with confidence and push past limits. Pure performance, no excuses. All the characteristics to enjoy fast session on the foil are integrated into the soft Dacron profile on the luff line of the sail. A batten set up, to flatten out profile on the exit of the sail to delete the back hand when powered. The outline is high aspect, having a shorter boom and a long luff. The base is cut low to offer a perfect close the gap, but not too wide to fit fast jibing.

Available in 3 sizes: 5.9, 6.9, and 7.9. Meeting the needs of a drag-less no cam sail to blast on fast free-race or slalom foils.
Foil is just another sport to Fin sailing. If you get addicted to it, you will want to find the same sail range set up as on the fin. So, if you sailed till now on no cam fast slalom sails, and you want to discover the same type of sail in foiling, the F1x is just the obvious choice.
ITS CHARACTER
Till you don’t get close, you won’t realize that it’s a no cam sail. The looks, the outline is pure racing foil series pedigree. It’s a fast foil sail just from looking at it! All the characteristics to enjoy fast sessions on the foil are integrated into the soft Dacron profile on the luff line of the sail.
A batten setup to flatten out the profile on the exit of the sail to delete the back hand when powered. The outline is high aspect, having a shorter boom and a long luff. The base is cut low to offer a perfect close the gap, but not too wide to fit fast jibing.
ON THE WATER
STABILITY! Leaving the beach, the sail will totally feel light in your hands. Crank up the throttle and see how you will only feel the foil on the water as the sail will feel like it disappears in your hands. It’s what is called stability!
The F1x allows us to focus on the pressure on the foil and enjoy the high speeds, eliminating control issues and annoying backhand. Without any cams, the fun is guaranteed in the jibes! Easy handling, easy light uphauling, great for light wind days and first steps on the foil.

RIGGING
The F1x is straightforward to rig, requiring a reasonable amount of force to counter its moderate luff curve and apply the downhaul required, guided by the visual aid in the top panel. It can rig both RDM and SDM mast, but for the 2 bigger sizes, the use of the SDM will give a better performance. Playing with the outhaul will boost power or increase control. Tighten the lower 2 battens and the top batten, but just remove wrinkles on the other battens without overtightening them. The lower the clew eyelet choice, the less backhand the sail will deliver.

Some news of my F1-X sail, during this summer I’m living at Noirmoutier Island, on the France Atlantic coast. So I’ve had many opportunities to use it, in a lot a various conditions (I’ve made 37 sessions with its, 1200 km done). In my point of view, it’s a very pleasant sail, easy to rig, easy to use, very light, with a huge range of wind, many times instead of rigging my 6 m, l’ve kept the F1-X.In conclusion, I love this sail.
Best regards, Christophe
