10 days in for expo can be long, but it’s a good way to allow people to choose from 2 weekends to visit the stands. It was a pleasure for us to be back at the Boot, (on its 50th anniversary), to meet windsurfers like us, but out from our natural environment.
Even if there were pools, artificial waves, it was very pleasant to have more time with our visitors of the stand and taking time to show all the details of the products, show our new sales policy and help them with advising the right gear for the coming season.
Nowadays most expos for windsurfing are directly on the beach, which is a nicer environment, but we are all than busier to go windsurfing if windy. This event actually gave to visitors the chance to discover and explore more the people and product behind the development, scenes and learn more from what we actually use than to have fun on the water.
We had the chance to meet new friends, old friends, people we were not seeing from ages, and spend an amazing time, even if we did not know for 10days what colour the sky was. The days went fast, it was interesting, and yes…we will be there next year again!
