SYLT, Germany. IFCA World Slalom Championships Men and Women division: Point-7 dominates.
An important milestone for Point-7s timeline. For the first time two Point-7 Black team riders, are both on the top podium positions at a World Championships in their own division.
Lena Erdil and Vincent Langer both win the World Title in their women’s and men division respectively, with their AC-1.
Another great result comes from oir rider, Esther de Geus, who finishes third on the women ranking as well! Two of the #point7girls on the same podium!
80 competitors from 20 different countries.
7 finals for the women’s and 3 for the man. Quite a lot of swell and winds between 10-16knots.
[mk_blockquote style=”quote-style” font_family=”none” text_size=”18″ align=”left”]I managed to win a lot of finals, and leading the ranking with 3.5 points after 7 finals in total!! I was on my 115l and 7.9 POINT-7 for all the races enjoying the good range of my equipment! Conditions were super challenging with a long course and big swell, some of the jibes I felt like i was surfing around the marks rather than jibing!! Great event, great fun!!

Lena and Vincent did a great job. Very proud of them and it can only make us understand that work pays off. I was following Lena and Vincent from Fuerteventura, where at the same time Nico was third in the freestyle Pwa single elimination here with the new Slash zero16. The Black Point-7 team is putting a lot of energy into what they do, great to see everyone!
