EUROCUP Torbole | Day #2 – Go Vinci!

Vincent Langer GER-1 is now leading the Eurocup after 2 days of racing. Today by obtaining, a bullet and a second place. Vincent faced a hard start due to the choice of gear, were he was caught with 8.6 in gusts up to 30knots.

Today the wind was little lighter than yesterday, and the riders were mainly using 8.6 and 7.9.  The rest of the Black Team had a good day with the young riders Moritz Bochina and Massimiliano Loncrini entering the finals. Maciek Rutkowski is keeping it constant in the top 10, after missing one of his heats today.

The forecast for the next 2 days is for good winds, even if possible showers could spoil Sundays’ wind.

I was not expecting this kind of wind on Lake Garda. I never thought I could use a 7.9 or 7.2 with South winds, so I held on my 8.6. It was hard to be fast on such big gear in gusts over 25knots, and in the second elimination, I went down to 7.2, which was though too small as the wind started dropping. Finaly today I was on the right gear and manage to be in the top 2 positions. The event is not finished, but I’m happy to keep my focus.
