Starting from 4 eyelets in the first version to give multiple options, after racing, receiving feedback and testing on many different situations, we decided to place only one eyelet in the key position, to allow us to go and develop for that position the best leach opening. The batten shapes have been reworked to bring further forward the profile. The top part of the leach has been re-viewed to offer higher speed release and comfort. A new straight leach design has been included in the final project to increase stability.

High aspect outline and naturally short boom to fit the foiling needs. A flat leech exit, and a moderate XXL sleeve width to keep the profile fast in the upwind. The profile is developed to perform in the tight angles upwind and downwind. A front deep profile with a wide sleeve keeps the eye awake that it’s all about racing. 7 battens, 3cams are now a trademark in the Point-7 racing sails. The base is cut extremely low to maximize the power of the wind to stay in the sail.

No! The F1 can be used on wider slalom boards as a compromise. Our AC-One remain our pure dedicated pure Slalom sail

Plug & 0.7. Leaving the beach, the sail will totally become neutral and comfortable in the moment you start pointing up or downwind. The focus will be only in powering up the foil to get the best angles. The stability of the sail is unique. The F1 allows us to focus on the pressure on the foil and enjoy the high speeds, eliminating control issues and annoying backhand. With the 3-cam the rotation is light and smooth.

The F1 needs to have the mast inserted on top of the cams. After pulling downhaul to 15cm of its final setting you can either put on the boom, and later pop on the cams before putting the final downhaul on, or place the cams on with the right technique, pulling on full downhaul, and then putting the boom on. You will find more instructions and videos on the support section on our website. Playing with the outhaul will boost up power or increase control. Tighten the battens just to let them follow the natural profile of the sail. without overtightening them.
